When Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Thursday that the Colts have informed quarterback Andrew Luck that he’ll be the first pick in the draft, I immediately checked (and re-checked) the Twitter page of Colts owner Jim Irsay for anything that would suggest otherwise, including but not limited to an allegation that Schefter is a “false rumor monger.”
Irsay didn’t dispute it, and now he has essentially confirmed it.
In his latest Twitter contest, Irsay offers $200 and a football signed by Andrew Luck.
For inclusion in the “Abby’s hatpick!” drawing, the Twitter user must name by 5:00 p.m. ET the college that had the most players drafted in the first two rounds in 2011.
The correct answer is North Carolina and Alabama, with four each.
