Free agent receiver Jerome Simpson’s 15-day jail sentence ends today, and he’s wasting no time in moving on to his next team visit.

Simpson is scheduled to visit with the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.

Simpson pleaded guilty on March 1 to a felony charge stemming from his September arrest for getting about two pounds of marijuana shipped to his northern Kentucky home. At the time of his arrest he was just starting his fourth season with the Bengals, and it ended up being by far the best year of his career: He caught 50 passes for 725 yards and four touchdowns.

The Bengals haven’t closed the door on bringing Simpson back, and the Rams have also shown interest.

Simpson is expected to be suspended by the NFL, but no announcement has been made about any league discipline.
