They are hypocrites when the facts come out. Marino put up fabulous stats but was NOT a super bowl winner. Elway was a mediocre QB for years but at the end had enough talent to win a couple super bowls. or are you telling me a QB with as many TD’s as interceptions for his first ten years is a GREAT QB ? Get real !

SO WHERE is a hall of fame QB like Elway so much better ? Elway’s first 10 season he had 158 TD’s and 158 int’s plus he had 87 fumbles in those first ten years and 137 for his career. Sanchez has had a alright 3 years, with his success in big time comebacks in the 4th qtr in 2010, and of course his playoff success.

You want to say the Defense did everything? Ok whatever, but Sanchez has done a fine job, and last year he wasnt that good and still managed 26 tds, and 18 picks.

He is a young QB. People underrate the heck out of Sanchez, which like I said is due more to the hate of the Jets/Rex.

Tebow will be backup QB for awhile. Probably will only take snaps if they are well ahead just to get playing time and build his skills. Unlike Denver, at least he knows he’s wanted in NYC (by the owners). I sincerely hope Denver gets the living crap beat out of them every game this year. Just to embarrass John Elway.

“Tebowmania” will never fly in NY. It doesn’t work that way in that town with these sports fans and with coaches like Ryan and Sparrano who don’t really care what other people think of them.

Tebow doesn’t have the skill set to succeed as a true starting QB in the NFL and the fans and coaches know that. Frankly, Sanchez was more at risk of losing his job to Stanton (a real QB).

MDS and Florio can drone on and on and on in their blog about Tebow taking Sanchez’s job, but just because you continually say something won’t make it true.
