Friday’s PFT Live featured a visit from former Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd, who possibly has worked his way into the top 10 of the 2012 draft.
Floyd was forthcoming about his past off-field issues, and the things he has learned as a result of his mistakes.
And Floyd will be at Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, and he undoubtedly won’t have to return on Friday.
The only unknown is who will pick him — and whether he’ll cry when he’s picked. Asked recently by his barber whether Floyd will shed a tear or two when he’s selected, Floyd said he didn’t know.
We’ll all know come Thursday night, when the camera lock on to Floyd not long after his name is placed onto a draft card.

Really? Is there nothing else to report today? Please tell me what Richardson might do? Did Luck cry already? What about tough guy Poe? Any news on whether he might shed a tear? Sheesh..
I’d cry. A couple million tears.
As soon as he heard the Browns or Vikings might select him…those will be tears of misery
“That’s my wide receiver” [wiping tears from my eyes]
Ask Hines Ward what he’d do.
Oh…
i know i’ll laugh if he does.
Am I the only one that growing just a bit tired of all these grown men crying over a game? Take for instance the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament. It seems like there’s quite a bit of crying. When I think of crying, I think of losing someone important in my life or something else along those lines. Getting a job or losing a game just doesn’t seem to fit. At some point it loses it’s meaning when everyone is constantly crying over little events in life.
I cried when I got drafted, but that was for Viet Nam.
Yet another Notre Dame player getting overwhelming media buzz, pumping him up near draft time….simply because he wore a gold helmet for a few years on an average team in college (but who’s games are on a national TV network).
Nice juxtaposition of “Floyd” with “barber”. Depending on how old you are, it’s either an Andy Griffith Show tribute, a Nirvana tribute or in my case, both
The only good reason to cry is if he wasn’t drafted.
I bet if he ends up in Jacksonville, he will cry!!
Dez also cried……
Great Player! Best of luck wherever he goes… Just stay out of the AFC North
Sweet Story
Whatever team drafts him will cry for years to come!
Setting himself up to cry when he drops into the late first or early second round…..
If he cries, I’ll cry.

Amen, brother. I’m still laughing. I was there, too.
There were about 75+ of us at the induction center and they asked for 5 volunteers for the Marines. They got 3. I was in the back and went from 6’1″ down to about 5’8″ slunk down. Needless to say I wasn’t one of the two chosen.
Floyd not sure if he’ll cry, but prepared to do so, should Buffalo call his name.
If Cleveland or St. Louis drafted me I’d cry too.
