That’s a bad job by heyguru. First, Jets draft 16. Secondly, the Jets had the 6th ranked Red Zone offense in 2011. So, you lost credibility right off the bat. Unfortunately, I wish you had some, since I agree that Floyd would be a great addition to the Jets.

Please explain your logic. Tannehill is going in the top-15, that’s a draft for need. Teams may take the most talented player at the position they need, but to say it’s based soley on talent is inaccurate, and stupid.

Hightower to Seattle? Pete Carroll was quoted as saying “we want to get faster at LB”. Hightower will be a great two-down ILB, but I don’t think he really fits as being “faster” than Hawthorne (who was let go) or Ruud (who has been signed as a stopgap).

I could see them getting Keuchly if he’s available, because he’s a three-down backer who is skilled at dropping into coverage. I could also see them trading back if Hightower is the player they really want (which I doubt). But if Ingram and Coples are on the board, and Seattle takes Hightower, as is the case with this mock, a lot of us fans will be scratching our heads in confusion.

Go ask Nick Saban who his best coverage LB was last year….you might be surprised. Hightower is a 3 down player. He can do it all…he can cover, he can stop the run and he can rush the passer.

With that being said, I am not looking forward to the Eagles wasting another first round pick on the next Brandon Graham, but I could easily see that happening.

BTW I agree with others that Hightower will not go at #1. That’s much too high. He may fall into the 20′s. Steelers might take him or OG Zeilter (WI) or other best OL over Poe.

BBTW if Poe is behind Casey Hampton almost by definition he is moving slowly.

Teams don’t draft for need. They draft for talent. If Cox is rated higher than Blackmon, Cox will be the pick.
