I agree with that statement to an extent, and I def think the Boys could do much worse than A.S., but one of the big knocks of him is he doesnt finish plays. Ware had 44 pressures, with 44% of those being sacks. Spencer only turned those into sacks 17% of the time. If he was even half as good as Ware rushing the passer he should have been closer to 8 or 9 sacks. Obviously playing football isnt a math equation but hey…you brought up the numbers :)

Do you know Spencer’s assignments? Cause I sure know that he drops into pass coverage and run defense 2 out of every 3 snaps… and that even in rushing the passer 33% of the time… he STILL had 6 sacks and almost as many QB pressures as Ware (Spencer, 35 – Ware, 44).
