Getty ImagesWe noted this morning that it was likely, and now the Redskins have made it official: Free agent linebacker Bryan Kehl has signed with the Redskins.
Kehl has mostly been a special teams player in his five-year NFL career, although with the Redskins having only three inside linebackers on the roster (London Fletcher, Perry Riley and Lorenzo Alexander), Kehl may end up getting significant playing time on defense as well.
A fourth-round draft pick of the Giants in 2008, Kehl played in New York until he was waived in September of 2010. He was then claimed by the Rams, where he played in 2010 and 2011 before being released this year.

Skins have a pretty solid D.
Look forward to the NFC East being more competitive now that RG3 gives the Skins real hope!

Not so sure about this….
Special Teams/Depth. Raheem Morris will coach him up.
He’s high character, very smart, and runs a 4.5 forty I like it.
I dont care what anyone says noone can say our seasons wasnt one of the best..more then on paper this time..we draft some olineman to go with rgiii and you know shanny will..and this thing might just be back on track…anyone who saw our d last year cannot say we wont be better..anyone who saw the o knows it hugely did…not a homer call to say philly is taking the division but we got a great shot at 8-8/9-7..we play the division late in the game which gives rg and the o time to gel prior…i cannot wait until thanksgiving this year…i think shanny bet all in on 8-8 this year and a playoff run the next to get his new contract…httr since 1980
