Would be kind of foolish of them to claim that anyway. Since no one was hurt, it’s pretty clear that they DID NOT follow orders…

Wrong, it simply means they weren’t talented enough to execute the orders capably. By your logic, the fact that the Nazis don’t rule Europe today is clear evidence that they never tried.
————————————————-

All of those dead people indicate the Nazis tried. Where is the evidence the Saints tried? EVERY single game film has been reviewed during those three years. A handful of fines were issued against Saints players but that can be said of every team in the NFL during the same time. This is not a player safety issue. Never has been. It’s a minor rule violation involving chump change that somehow got personal to Goodell.
————————————————-

There are two kinds of idiot - one who is unable to understand, and one who is unwilling to understand. In which category would you place yourself?

You know what amazes me, peopledldls total lack of understanding of the TOTAL picture here. Goodell HAS the evidence I'n tons, make NO mistake about it. Here"s the problem, if it's released publicly it opens a dozen cans of worms, people, senators, congressmen, irs, ttampering, wire-tapping, outside questionsble character funding, and on n on. He's stalling, trying to let the heat die down. Unlike a court system it is a Private Enterprise and he has NO OBLIGATION WHATSOEVER to release anything to anybody other than to those who violated the dukes of the NFL. cry and scream all you eant, thats just the way it is. It's a Corporate System owned by individual owner who have ALSO agreed to the terms of the By-Laws.

With that being said, he'd be a fool to publicly release all they've found. They already have senators/congress men seeking sub-comittees. Released information would give the press a hey-day which would be followed by SHARK attorneys. Let's not forget the NFL is currently under attack. In the court system for MORE than - 1,000 concussion lawsuits. The NFL is a kind of Mafia dreal, kept in house, dealt in house. Too many $$$$$$ to have too many people snooping around. I'n fact, besides dead bodies, bank robberies and hi jacking of tricks, they could've taught the Mafia a LOT. These are mukti billionaire owners and multi millionaire players. They dont too many people I'n their business. It's a well oiled machine boys and they want to keep it that way. They truly dislike (abhor) these nit picking distractions that create a "look at us" atmosphere. You got BOUNTYGATE, you dumb ole DeMaurice Smith protecting the bad guys instead of the targeted good guys. And NOW, NOW you got the Feds looking everybodies butt because of Loomis.

This is gonna get bigger than the Cincinnati Reds EVER hoped to be. You watch. Why? Big Money draws attention and shines a light on everybody, and evertbodys watching. Evidence, hmeres the problem, yhey got too much of it. How do I know? Because Sean Payton, Loomis, Vitt The Saints owner ALL took their penalties, tucked their lehas between their tails, shut and walked out. Think about that. And in the back ot your heads remember 1,000 plus pending lawsuits. That's the story boys. Oh, and player penalties will come out around draft time cuz fill help shove bounty gate under the rug. Wrong

I guess I am missing something here with regards to people asking to see the evidence. The NFL is under no obligation to show the general public anything. Like it or not the NFL can do what they want without your approval.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

What about the Congressional special committee? Do they have no obligation to show them anything either?

One way or another, the day is coming when Goodell is going to have to show some concrete evidence that everything has happened that he claims has happened.

Wrong, it simply means they weren't talented enough to execute the orders capably. By your logic, the fact that the Nazis don't rule Europe today is clear evidence that they never tried.

It's getting hard to tell lately which of you pro-bounty supporters are just taking any position against Goodell out of hatred, or are just marching with the blind legion of Saint slappies. Haters of justice & accountability, UNITE!!!

If you think that the absence of a ream of injuries negates you team’s culpability in the bounty scandal, then you are the biggest moron on this planet.

-----------------------------------
Well I guess I am just the biggest moron on this planet, D-bag. I would like to see the evidence. Obviously the game tape provides not one instance of proof (your reasoning being for the lack of this type of evidence being that every offense that has faced the Saints in the past three years was so good that they were able to avoid any serious injuries by those evil, knee attacking Saints defenders). I see that you have no use for things like evidence. Allegations are all you need. Some of us morons in the world actually think for ourselves and would like to see the proof. I am sure you are positive of the Saints guilt in the Loomis/ESPN battle. Once again, some facts would be nice to see.

Ha ha ha ha.

I think you might need to check your facts. Goodell didn't take any first round picks.

Enjoy your top 5 pick again next year. By then the Bucs will have accepted the Freeman experiment as a failure and can draft another QB.

It’s hilarious just how jealous that bozosforall is of the Patriots and their organization. He’s still too much of a COWARD to admit what team he supports. Hey bozo (your screenname definitely fits you) go back to hiding under daddy’s skirt. This “story” has nothing to do with the Pats.

__
Jealousy? New England sports fans talking about others being jealous is a huge joke, given their century-long jealousy of how the New York Yankees have dominated the weak arse Boston Red Sox...and how New Englanders have cried about it for even longer. You got NOTHING, dyanne.

I don’t doubt that the players fully embraced the side betting aspect of this when it came to big plays and big legal hits. Punish them for that. Sure. But the whole bounty angle of them out there to injure just has not facts as presented on the field for the world to see.
---------------------

This is about the most ridiculous argument that I've seen, over and over and over, regarding this mess the Saints and their coaches got themselves into.

Look, those of you who think that, because there weren't a ton of injuries due to the bounties, does NOT mean that they weren't trying, it just means that the other team's offense did a good job of protecting their guys. If you think that the absence of a ream of injuries negates you team's culpability in the bounty scandal, then you are the biggest moron on this planet.
