Getty ImagesOn Monday, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Rams held private workouts over the weekend with three draft-eligible receivers. They were Justin Blackmon, Michael Floyd, and Kendall Wright.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Rams worked out at least one more: Illinois receiver A.J. Jenkins.
Jenkins is regarded as a third-to-fourth-round talent. It’s unclear whether the Rams would be targeting him in that range, or higher.
Jenkins caught 90 passes in 2011, generated 1,276 yards. He was one of the fastest receivers at the Scouting Combine, covering 40 yards in 4.39 seconds.

Nice to know…….what other teams are looking and evaluating potential draft picks? I suspect there may be 31.
Reading that last paragraph… Why is he a 4th rounder?
Don’t worry , Mike Wallace can be had for a couple picks .

He wouldn’t be if old Al was still around.
@joewilliesshnoz
Can be had for a top 10 pick and literally a buttload of cash.
Oh nice. Just what the Rams need: another mid-tier WR. He will fit in nice with Amendola, Alexander, Gilyard, Gibson, Pettis, Salas, and whatever other bums they have at that position.
Wallace can Be had for 39 &65 or Just #33 & 5th rounder
They need to lnculde stephen hill he the truth!!!!!!
Rams are checking out what they could get if they make a move for Richardson in the 1st round.
So what. I’m sure 31 others teams are looking at him too if he is that fast
I think he could go in the second round with that production and his speed/quickness.
So Ron Zook is unemployed and sending a bunch of kids to the NFL but Urban Meyer is still on the payroll from his last three jobs and won’t put any of the kids from those top-5 recruiting classes in the league. Interesting.
