The failure of any Saints player trying to win the bounty money, of actually inflicting a serious injury, does not negate their participation in the bounty program. Each time that one of you idiots bring up this defense, you make yourself and all others using the same tired argument, look like even bigger idiots.

I personally feel sorry for the Saints fans, the real fans who have been devastated by all that this crew of coaches has brought you, with their devious and demented “plans” for winning games using that little something “extra”, to get the guys fired up. If I was so dogged in my fanaticism of a team, like I was years ago, and this happened to that team, it would have devastated me, too. But you’ve got to move on. It’s happened, and nothing is going to erase that.

Over a three year period, the Entire Saints Defense Injured Exactly ZERO Players as a Result of Illegal Hits on the Field. ZERO, walk-offs never to return, ZERO cart-offs never to return.

The Saints are the subject of Goodell’s wrath because of the lawsuits by “retired” players. This is ALL about protecting the shield and the wallet. It has nothing to do with a “bounty” program, i.e., paying players to injure other players, because NOBODY WAS INJURED!

However, at the end of the day we are being punished for a botched coverup. Look what Nixon did in Watergate was not really all that bad just like what the Saints did wasn’t all that bad. What is bad is when you get caught and you lie about it. If Nixon came clean when Watergate broke he stays in office. If the Saints came clean when they got caught then we get light punishments similar to what NE got in Spygate, we didn’t so like Nixon we got the book thrown at us.

That coverup has made us an easy mark for BS stories like this wiretapping nonsense. The story is totally untrue and the guy that made this stuff up should get canned by ESPN but he likely won’t because no one is going to believe us.

I just want to get back to football because we have a great team even sans coach but at the end of the day, more important than Bountygate, Spygate, and false accusations of wiretappping the lawsuits are the big story and a serious threat to the game we all love. We seriously need a vote in this country for some type of tort reform. Class-Action lawsuits are crippling not just football but every industry in the nation.

The NFL reportedly has a million documents to prove this allegation…but they won’t release them.
