Both fan bases rip each other, but every Giants fan knew in their heart that Philly’s WRs were too deep and talented for this guy to make the roster. Sometimes drafting the younger brother of a real talented athlete pans out and sometimes it doesn’t. I still find it hard to believe that NY gave him five years. The writing was on the wall after year two, and year three just confirmed it. Years four and five were a wasted roster spot.

I remember that Jerome Bettis/Peyton Manning commercial where Peyton was the referee. A man’s gotta work. As a football player there are more than just 32 options. Warren Moon was told he wasn’t good enough, then he went to Canada and came back with PROOF he was more than good enough. I don’t know how much money they make up there but it is better than making nothing down here begging one of 31 teams for a job (the Giants are out of the question for him).
