No, I didn’t get his name wrong… I was referring to Carolina’s RB… however, he is no longer there, it was my mistake and I meant DeAngelo Williams. And BTW, carried them on his back? Like I said, after Schaub went down, they went 3-3 and averaged 18 points a game. That is on top of the 3 losses coming to Carolina, Tennessee and Indianapolis… Sorry to say that their NFL’s 2nd best Defense carried them. In their 3 wins, Foster had 65, 111 and 67 yards while the defense gave up only 42 total points. Also, Arian Foster had 0 fumbles before Schaub got hurt in week 10… After that, he had 5. So he wasn’t carrying as much of a load as you claim.

Hilarious… How did that work out for Houston again? Oh, Schaub and Andre Johnson got hurt and they lost their last 3 games.. Andre Johnson came back and they at least beat Cincy in the playoffs… by the way, they averaged 27.3 points a game with Schaub and 18 points without.. including losing their last 3 games to Indy, Carolina and Tennessee. So, in this case, without the passing game, an elite runner PLUS the #2 Defense in all of football still got them what? Oh, nothing. Look at the playoff teams, hell, break it down to the super bowl… NYG-Bradshaw? hurt most of the year and very underachieving when he wasn’t. Jacobs? Bum. NEP-Green-Ellis? JOKE!!!! What did both teams have? Elite passers and REAL wide receivers. It’s a passing league.

I like Trent Richardson but H&H got hosed on the trade (Again). If Richardson was really who Tampa wanted, you tell me they weren’t willing to part with a better offer then the Clowns! We bid against ourselves on this one.

How can anyone be happy about this trade? Why when you need so much would you waste picks on a running back? You don’t win by building this way there is a giant hole on the right side of the line. The Browns had a chance to do something build the best line in football, have the best secondary in football in order to be great you must start somewhere. But not in Berea. Lets grab a running back the best in the draft since Adrian Peterson because that has worked out so well for the Vikings they drafted in front of the Browns. But hey they need more help then us so lets give them the picks we need. H and H I believed in till today. Lerner should cut them both loose before the second round. All i have heard is we are building so lets take a player in the draft older than every veteran on the team thats logical. I know the quick fix fans are happy but im sure many of you are just as frustrated as me.

See, here’s the problem… When Hillis was running all over defenses and giving Colt plenty of time to throw the ball, HE WAS STILL GETTING ROCKED, simply because CLE has zero receivers that can get open… at all.

“Elite” RB’s mean zero in this all new passing NFL. How did Matt Forte, Jamaal Charles, Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew, LeSean McCoy, Deshaun Foster and Chris Johnson do in the postseason? Oh, they didn’t make it.

The class of RB’s in the postseason were Ray Rice, who rode the defense into the playoffs. Michael Turner, who rode Ryan, Roddy and Julio into the playoffs and Frank Gore who never showed up in the playoffs…. It is a passing league and you need weapons to throw to. RB’s have a ridiculously short life in the NFL and most teams even use a 2 back system now because RB’s mean so much less. Blackmon was the BEST choice and once again CLE blows it. Even at 22, Stephen Hill was also there and what? Blown again. I don’t care who is at QB, with NOBODY able to get open, they are getting smashed.

Sorry Trent, Browns could’ve drafted DeCastro to make one of the better OLines in the NFL for you but we decided a 29 year old rookie QB that couldn’t wait til the 2nd round. Apparently the Browns are ready to now take thier thrown on top the division with this wiseguy move.

The Browns traded because there was a lot of talk that multiple teams were flirting with Minnesota to get the third pick and swipe Richardson. They had to give up some picks but kudos to Cleveland for not letting RG3 and Trent escape them in the same draft.

Obviously the Vikings weren’t going to take him, but there were several team interested in moving up to get him at 3. The Browns had to move up to avoid being leap frogged and missing the guy they really wanted. They had extra 4th and 5th round picks anyways……great pick up.

It’s not about the Vikings, at all. The Bucs were threatening to trade up to 3 and take Richardson, so Cleveland made the defensive trade up to secure they guy they wanted. The Bucs traded down immediately after, pretty much proving their initial plan was foiled.

For the most part NFL teams aren’t that stupid to trade up 1 position to select a back that people think the Vikes weren’t selecting. Minnesota was shopping this pick for days now and I’m willing to bet they had other offers on the table from teams eyeing Richardson.
