All throughout the draft process, we’ve heard that the Jaguars wanted to trade down out of the seventh pick.

The draft is just hours away and now the wind is shifting the other direction. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported on Twitter and on television that the Jaguars are one of a handful of teams actively looking to move up in the first round. Per Schefter, their target is Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon.

There’s a good chance that Blackmon will be off the board before the Jaguars get on the clock and the team would likely have to jump in front of the Rams to guarantee themselves a shot at drafting the wideout. The question is which team in front of them would want to trade down to seven and what it would cost for the Jaguars to take the trip up the board.

According to Schefter, the Jaguars are one of six teams looking to move up at the moment. The Bills (despite Buddy Nix’s denial earlier on Thursday), Eagles, Packers, Patriots and Chargers are the other teams on the list.
