RGIII is going to be the next JRussell watch and see everybody trying to compare him to Cam Newton because he’s black. You know, it’s comments like this that’s making me hate colts fans more and more. I thought I heard enough crap out of our NFC East fans, but this is ridiculous. Dude, if you open your ears and actually listen to what RG3 stated, you would not be making idiotic statements. Just mentioning Rex Grossman, and suddenly forgetting who was QB’ing your team last year shows your ignorance. At least the skins didn’t purposely tank their season to get the top pick of the draft. Also, good luck with your revamped front office/coaching staff. I’ve been through that crap many times, and you better hope your owner did his homework when picking these guys.

Go ahead colt fan, act like an a** about this article. It was not about him patronizing the process; he is just a very honest, and real person. If you could just hear the actual interviews from the Washington reporters, you would understand this. I know what I have heard, and he is a very polished, and humble gentleman. He may be great, or not, but you have to like this kid. Difference is between both QB’s: Luck is NFL ready, and Griffin is a prospect that has all the tools to succeed. I wish Luck well in Indy, and of course as a skins fan, I hope RG3 works out and becomes a great QB for the next decade. HTTR!

No RG3, this is PRO football. People in this game do not get their feelings hurt. I am not sure if you noticed, but the Colts are getting the BEST QB in this draft, so I doubt they are crying in their beers. I would worry more about you and how you are now playing with the big boys, not the Little 12. How many of the Little 12 QB’s turn out good??? not many at all…

mrplow3, why does he have to be compared to Cam at all? If anything, the player he most resembles is Vick, but there’s also D. Carr, D. Anderson, S. Young, etc… lots of other QBs who played “looser” than he. I really hate the comparisons that seem to be on race alone. Who would Warren Moon have been compared to? The only other good black qb at the time was Cunningham and they had 2 completely different skill sets. Moon was more of a Marino – sit back, surveying the field, and picking you apart. Cunningham was more like Young (or vice versa in this case) – never forgetting he has the ability to run and create on the fly as well as use his arm. It’s like as soon as someone talks about Rg3, they bring up Vick or Newton… that’s it. No Kellen Moore. No Weeden. Not even Luck… with the exception of their performances at the combine.
