Like the pick. Certainly seems a bit raw but the lack of production was a reflection of where he played. Certainly appears to have freakish athleticism. We haven’t had a big homegrown WR in years…looking forward to what this guy can do.

Jets are certainly taking chances on boom/bust type prospects.

I always think it’s funny when teams draft badly on QB like the Jets did with Sanchez and the Ravens did with Boller. They draft good WRs, great RB’s and TE’s; they have pro bowl lineman, yet…still the same results: their offenses suck because their QB’s suck. The Ravens eventually admitted it with Boller. The Jets will do the same with Sanchez. I’d hate to be a receiver drafted by that team.

This was a great value pick and a need the Jets had to address. I thought Hill was the 3rd best WR in this draft because of his tangibles (speedy, can catch and block), and he should fit right in coming from a run first offense at Georgia Tech.
