Something about him makes me feel like he’s going to be a train wreck. I could be wrong, but I watched him play at UNC (I live in the area) and his “big plays” were on blown blocking assignments and such. He tackles too high, often is very close to horse-collaring, but he is physically gifted. Time will tell, but I am doubtful.

Plus, it’s the Jets. They often fook up a first round pick.

Going to be a decent player for the Jets, but will get ruined by that locker room of player and coaches.

Its too bad. If he had gone to the Giants, he would have been one of the next great DEs with the coaches and discipline there. Instead he is a Jet…

UNC has produced a lot of NFL talent, but they can’t beat a wet noodle in a game. For as much talent as they supposedly have, to be a middle of the road football team in a basketball conference, is out of whack.

he seems like a kid that needs guidance in a locker room, like NE or Balt. i think it will be more difficult for him to stay focused in that freakshow they call a locker room , no leaders, only “me first” whiny types

Said by the guy who still believes that Rex actually delivered those Super Bowl wins.

It amazes me that the Yets took this guy when there were less-risky and higher upside guys available. Truthfully this does very little to improve what is looking like a 7-9 Yets team.

He won’t be looking down at Brady, he’ll be looking up at Patriots offensive linemen.
