Need someone for Bradford to throw to. Terrell Owens? If you’re going to let Bradford get killed physically by not protecting him, might as well kill him mentally with Terrell Owens and at least have a decent target out there. Maybe get Ocho too when patriots cut him.

Guys, it’s all a guessing game now. Look at how many first-rounders don’t live up to hype, and how many reliable Super Bowl and playoff heroes are later-rounders (or even undrafted).

It’s nice to be able to hit home runs in the first round, but at this point no one can say that anyone has done that. The Rams are an odd team in the sense that they have some stars (Bradford, Jackson) but a shaky supporting cast. They’re not a team, like so many others, that is lacking any real marquee player. They need a solid foundation and influx of good talent throughout. Combine that with a good system, which they will hopefully have, and they’ll be fine.

Reuben Randall will be drafted tonight by the Rams with their 33rd pick and Randall will be better than Blackmon at the next level. He has size, speed, and isn’t afraid to go over the middle. Everything Blackmon is but he’s faster, quicker and better playing against press coverage, whereas blackmon shys away. And NO Blackmon is not Anquan Boldin. Boldin does not shy away from contact.

Ok… first off… it’s good to get extra picks… however… 3 in Second Round? that’s way too much emphasis on maybes… TBH they should have looked at players instead of picks…

Rams have done extremely well for themselves, so far…….Only hope they whiff on the rest of the picks or NFC West better start worrying about them. Great coach, good players from draft equals great sucess……

I think they have had the best draft of all the teams, thus far. Hope it doesn’t continue!

Also, dude. The Browns and Skins put in there offers and were told the Rams would let both teams know which one they were going with. So your comment about a deal being done and Fisher couldnt take it back is totally wrong.

I moved from Cleveland to St. Louis last year. This was in the papers in both cities, it was EVEN ON THIS SITE.
Holmgren acted like a big fat baby when you gave the pick to the Redskins.

Actually, It was well documented in the Cleveland media, and a press conference that Holmgrenmade he said offered 3 first round pics. Our # 4 and 22 this year and next years 1st. He didnt offer the 2nd, this was confirmed by the Rams as well.
I bet the Redskins finish with a much better record then the Browns who have the 3rd hardest scheduled in the NFL next year. So sadly when we win 2 games, you probably could have had a top 3 pick….
Just saying, if I had a choice on who’s first rounders I would have wanted it would easily be the Browns, who have had a top 10 pick the last bazillion years

Looks like the jersey in this picture is for a (really big) OL, not Blackmon. Looks like they got the customized lettering down, but not the sizing.

It’s amazing how people are only seeing the not getting Blackmon part…for trading down from 2-14 they got 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders in a deep draft and if brockers becomes a solid run stuffer they’ve pretty much had a perfect draft

I guess my earlier comment was deleted– not sure why.

Anyways, to clarify a point made earlier– by trading the 2nd overall pick (and the rights to select RG3) to Washington instead of Cleveland, the Rams essentially gave up Trent Richardson or Justin Blackmon for Brockers and two 2nd round picks. That seem like a good deal or not?
