The guy doesn’t even fit into our zone-blocking scheme. The scouting report on him from Pro Football Weekly literally says the following:
“Has heavy feet”
“Below average athleticism”
Since when does a team with a zone-blocking scheme draft a guy with criticisms like this? It’s like the Texans weren’t even trying half the time in the draft. Any constructive feedback from others would be appreciated, as I’m completely confused and disappointed at this point.

Completely agree with you. Posey should not have been drafted at all by the Texans, but the THIRD ROUND?? A totally wasted pick. There were so many WRs that rated higher than Posey that were available, and Posey had a lousy East-West Shrine week (I think – either that or the Senior Bowl) and a lousy combine. Have no idea what the Texans see in him.
