WHY?

We just drafted two CB’s and signed a few in the off-season. This deal would make no sense as we are trying to get younger and stock picks, rather then trade them for used tires.

Spielman should stay the course and continue to build through the draft. We are 2-4 years away from competing for a playoff spot.. The Packers should win the division for the next 3-4 years pending health of Rodgers …. Detroit should compete for a wild card spot every other year for the next 5, pending health of QB and WR …… The Bears might get lucky and sneak into the playoffs once or twice in the next 5 years….

The NFC is very young and tough in the North and East!!!!!!!!

trading for Jenkins won’t do the Vikings any good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenkins is actually from the Tampa Bay area.. There are more world class athletes in the Tampa area making their homes or at least staying throughout their offseason because of the high level of trainers, facilities & sports doctors who're based in the area.. Most pro tennis & soccer players as well as boxers, baseball players & Olympians opt to spend a great deal of their training & rehab time in or near Tampa, plus it's his home.. I don't think it's unusual for him to want to rehab in Tampa. Now if he wasn't checking in with progress reports or regular visits with the team staff then I guess that's what Jerra is concerned about..

If he signs somewhere else for 2013 and does well, you’ll get a compensatory pick for him in 2014. With compensatory picks, sometimes you can be rewarded if one of your guys walk.

I’ve also heard Jacoby Jones is available in HOU. Jenkins was a Wade Phillips draft pick. DAL needs an experienced 3rd WR, and Jones has return ability. That could be match.
