Check your stats again there guy. Up until the last two years when the Vikes have stunk, the years in which one team had a better record than the other has been nearly even. And one of the years in which GB had the better record they lost to Minnesota in the playoffs. History is so much better when you revise it.

I have been a Vikings fan my entire life, but Dale Moss is an amazing player and the most dedicated player you will ever meet. Moss sounds like a solid prospect with great upside. But intuition tells me that RB Marc Tyler will be the steal of the Packers’ UDFA group.

Thompson finds at least one UFA nearly every year who comes on to make the squad. Which is pretty impressive when you consider that those squads are at or near the top of the league.

The Vikings made a similar move signing a basketball player with far higher upside and they were ruthlessly mocked for it, largely by Packer fans.

I’ve had the chance to cover Moss since high school. He has massive potential. Followed him step-by-step through the pre-draft process, and his improvement in route running/footwork during that time was definitely noticeable. The Packers signed him based on his football skills, not on his basketball skills. Great athelete and great prospect, unfortunately he is going to a team with probably the best wide receiver corp in the NFL.

Why is the Queens organization/fans so desparate for attention from Packers fans? Like signing all the former Packers all the time. Like talking smack about unsigned free agents?

Really? 99% of these guys won’t even make a roster…when the Vikings start worrying about the Vikings and not about what the Packers thinkl they will get better. Until then…they will remain without any Super Bowls

dale has a great chance to develop into a rotational wr for them. his qb for the 1st half of last season at sdsu was absolutely awful and dale still put up numbers and made plays.

Um…Taylor is only 5’9″..Moss is 6’3″. I think the comparisons can end there. Don’t care how much speed the kid has. He’s probably to short for anything other than return specialist.

A nice flyer on a great athelete – nothing more, nothing less. Word was he wasn’t as explosive or dynamic on game tape as he was in his workout. In other words he didn’t play up to his numbers. This could be because of the lack of expierence. I was hoping the Vikings would have signed him and see if he developes. Exactly what your looking for with UDFAs.
