Seahawks announce ten undrafted free agent signings

The Seattle Seahawks announced Sunday that they have signed ten players to undrafted rookie contracts.

They are Ohio receiver Phil Bates, McNeese State cornerback London Durham, Cal (PA) guard Rishaw Johnson, Washington receiver Jermaine Kearse, Henderson State tight end Sean McGrath, Montana tackle Jon Opperud, Portland State defensive back DeShawn Snead, Cincinnati defensive end Monte Taylor, Oregon receiver Lavasier Tuinei, and Purdue kicker Carson Wiggs.

Johnson, the guard from Cal (PA), is perhaps the most notable pickup, as a player some draftniks regarded as a middle-round prospect. Johnson has off-field baggage after being dismissed from Ole Miss in 2010 for multiple violations of team policy.

Tuinei (pictured) is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound wide receiver who may convert to tight end.
