The Steelers are the latest team to disclose the acquisition of rookie free agents who have signed with the team after the conclusion of the draft.
The 12 new Steelers are: P Drew Butler (Georgia); CB Terry Carter (Louisian Tech); WR Connor Dixon (Duquesne); S Robert Golden (Arizona); DE Ikponmwosa Igbinosun (Southern Connecticut State); C/G Ryan Lee (Furman); LB Brandon Lindsey (Pitt); WR Marquis Maze (Alabama); K Grant Ressel (Missouri); LB Adrian Robinson (Temple); OT Desmond Stapleton (Rutgers); and DE Jake Stoller (Yale).
Maze is the most intriguing of the bunch. A receiver and return specialist who was a key member of the Alabama offense and special teams, Maze could provide a significant spark for the Steelers -- if he first can make the team.
