i don’t like the moves. Kingdon and Kebric were the two best scouts that the raiders had. you would drop dead if told about the players these guys scouted and drafted. I know personally that Kingdon is who pushed for Denarius last year and Veldheer the day before. He actually wanted Denarius in the 3rd round because he saw how special of a talent he was. One of the best scouts in the league, with Kebric not too far behind. They are going to get snatched up by other teams ASAP. Well respected scouts. NOT Al Davis yes men

That’s a laughably ignorant take. Kingdon was on his way out once McKenzie was hired, but scouting departments don’t get turned over until after the draft. Typical clueless commentator lives on.

If you take away Davis’ first round picks … the rest of the drafting once it was left to the scouts was pretty good over the years.

To survive 33 years with the Raiders, Kingdon had to have been a yes man to Al Davis. You don’t survive long in his organization by disagreeing with him, especially when he wants to draft glorified track stars over actual football players. Kingdon was “institutionalized” and found it hard not to just be star struck by workout wonders. If Mark Davis’ ego will allow football people to make football decisions, then the Raiders will be back on track. Unfortunately, his dad made the football decisions and a decade of ineptitude was the result after the game long passed him by.

Yeah, right. Wake up, son. First, Kingdon didn’t make the selections – ReggieMac did with input from Coach Allen and the scouting staff. Secondly, it looks like a good draft (although any draft can’t be evaluted properly for seerval years in most cases). Lastly, you say the Bengals pulled the ultimate hustle? Now, I know you’re high.

What hustle was that? I’ll take Carson Palmer over the criminal CB you got with the 17th pick any day. Unless a team is fully loaded in every other area, a productive QB is needed to compete in the NFL. The Raiders haven’t had that guy since Gannon, but they do now. I’ll take Palmer over anybody not named Brady, Rodgers, Brees, and Manning (that’s Eli only). Can’t wait for the match up this season against the Bungels when Palmer schools your new, shiny CB.

The transformation continues. The Packer-Saints are building their organization on slow, weak nonathletic “football players” with no off-the-field blemishes. Can’t wait to see this product.

33 years of loyalty to an organization kicked to the curb in favor of the “new wave” of thinking, which actually is just the process of copying everyone else. Ask Belichick, he’ll tell you what innovation is, and who he learned it from.

Copying the cookie cutter instructions might look good on the surface, but it lacks any substance at all.

Anyone who thinks Kingdon had anything to do with those picks is only fooling themselves.I imagine Reggie made those picks DESPITE kingdons input.And personally I liked the picks not one glorified track star in the group and they went after FOOTBALL players.And you have to consider what they were dealt with since Hue traded everything for a sack of magic beans.
