A little thing like groin surgery isn’t enough to keep Bills receiver Stevie Johnson from interacting with the fans.

Johnson tweeted early this morning that he was about to go into surgery, and then tweeted this afternoon that the surgery was successful, including with his tweet a picture of himself apparently emerging from anesthesia.

Johnson called his surgery successful and says he’s now in “recovery mode.”

Although Johnson started all 16 games for the Bills last season, he was listed on the injury report with a groin injury several times, and he aggravated the injury in December. He’s expected to make a quick recovery from surgery and be good to go for most of the Bills’ offseason work.
