Getty ImagesThe Giants are one of the teams withholding disclosure of their 2012 undrafted rookie class. But the league’s official website has a list of nine Giants UDFA signings. More may be revealed at upcoming rookie minicamps.
The Giants’ undrafted signings, so far, are as follows:
Louisiana Tech defensive end Matt Broha, Arizona receiver David Douglas, McNeese State safety Janzen Jackson, Rutgers fullback Joe Martinek, Georgia State linebacker Joe Muasau, Miami safety Jojo Nicolas, Miami defensive end Adewale Ojomo, UMass receiver Julian Talley, and Merrimack quarterback James Suozzo.
Seven of the nine signings have been confirmed by Mike Garafolo of theĀ Newark Star-Ledger.
Jackson (pictured) was on most draftniks’ radars as a former standout at the University of Tennessee. Jackson started for the Vols as a true freshman and sophomore, earning second-team All-SEC honors with five interceptions in 2010. He was dismissed from the school in August of 2011 for multiple violations of Tennessee’s drug policy, finishing out his career at McNeese State.
Jackson had a five-star rating as a prep recruit. He was considered a better prospect than Bengals first-round pick Dre Kirkpatrick coming out of high school.

UMass WR Talley is apparently a former teammate of Victor Cruz. Would be great to see lightning strike twice.
Janzen Jackson can’t be that bad or he’d be on the Bengals.
Jackson was 13th on Rivals and Kirpatrick was 9th.
Jackson was part of that infamous ’09 class of Kiffen’s at Tennessee that imploded. The best class of recruits to ever fail that much.
What blew things up for the Vols was Kiffin leaveing.
Jake Muasau
I could see fullback Joe Martinek making a difference on this roster. Fullback who needs to work on his Blocking at the next level but is a offensive threat. Interesting pick up Jerry.
Broha = Toleffson. Next man up, ’nuff said
Based on Jerry Reese’s percentages since he’s taken over the helm, one of these gentlemen is a future probowler.
Amazing track record for the hidden gems.
I think what blew things up for the Vols was Kiffin arriving
