Quite a family from what I saw of it. Early in the proceedings one of the daughters was going to turn the mother in when it hadn’t yet been revealed who was driving the car. That was because the daughter feared she might be a suspect and didn’t want her hopes for a pop music career derailed, not because she thought the truth was important. Joe would get mad at the photographers for taking pictures, acting like the biggest crime was the invasion of his privacy. He shouted “Why don’t you guys get a life?” (You mean the way the Mrs. did, Joe?) And of course Mrs. Senser doing her best to get away from the consequences of her actions. Humanity at its finest. Frankly I’m amazed to see one of the rich finally get convicted of something.

Joe was one of biggest helps for prosection, morning after when she told him, he actually said on stand he told her what did you hit, a deer? a constuction pylon would not make that much damage!! her own husband did not believe her

Wonder how this would have turned out if she stopped. She would have been convicted of manslaughter for drinking and driving and got lesser time in jail. Can’t say I feel sorry for her though…

She was obviously drunk when she hit the guy. She has to live with that. Fortunately the jury saw through the lies.

Never a cop when you need one. If they’d have tagged her drunk butt near the scene she’d be doing double the sentence that they’ll hand her.

So you have a mint condition Mercedes SUV which means you take excellent care of your car and you care about it’s appearance. You have also never been in an accident before yet when you hit something as big as a human body you don’t stop to at the very least see the extent of the damage on your car? Sad story, really. I tend to think she did have some drinks and had she stayed at the scene of the crim, the consequences would have been much more severe because they would have tested her. Either way, like christnamer said – no winners here.

If she would have gotten off the hook I would have completely lost all faith in the MN Justice system.

She hit a guy and killed him, then never stopped, and never called the police to admit she did anything wrong. If she would have gotten off the hook, that would have just proved yet again rich and famous are held to a different set of standards then the rest of us are.

If that would have been me that did that, I would already be in prison and likely would have gotten the maximum sentence. She shouldn’t be any different.

she and he should be embarrassed beyond words for even attemping to put this in front of a jury. she killed the guy, there was never a doubt. and its likely they hid the fact she was drunk when she did it. disturbing, Joe. i thought you were a man???
