Minnesota House will vote on stadium bill Monday

football-fan-7

The fluid stadium situation in Minnesota will finally flow onto the floor of the Minnesota House of Representatives on Monday.

According to multiple reports, the House will vote May 7 on the pending stadium bill, which was the product of an an agreement among and between the team, Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, and legislative leaders.

With an alternative proposal making the rounds, it could be that Plan B can’t go anywhere until Plan A officially fails. Or perhaps Plan A succeeds.

If the bill prevails in the House, the Senate would still have to approve the measure, and any differences between the House and Senate version would have to be ironed out before Dayton could sign it into law.

Thus, while the end of this process is not yet in sight, it’s getting closer. We think.
