I always get worried when a player goes in for a minor clean-up procedure and then the player and the team start screaming about how minor it was, when no one questioned if he would be ready for the season. Jeff Otah has had 2 “minor” knee procedures that cost him nearly a full season each.

Show me more Keiser, trade for a real end or roll big money into a hybrid dt slot and let’s get some kind of real pass rush going….

The old deal is NOT working and everyone knows it. I would re-do his contract in a heart beat if he has less than 10 sacks this season…that is ridiculous! I mean get real….Way too much money for way too little production. Can we say fat and happy?

I wouldn’t say thin – we still have Antwan Applewhite and Thomas Keiser. Both played well last year after stepping in.

For Johnson, I don’t care about the big bucks – he earned his money. But the thing is, once you get it, fans expect you to keep earning it for it to be justified. Couple this with his back injury from last season and I start to get scared though.
