If this kid stays healthy he is going to be a stud. And all the guys saying Sproles averaged 6 plus a carry, you do realize he carried the ball out of passing formations most of the time when defenses were playing the pass. Sproles is a very good receiver out of the backfield but he isn’t a pound it back. Which means he isn’t a 3 down back. I give the Saints credit they do have 4 pretty good backs. I think they should run more and control the clock to keep that defense off the field and fresher.

This was an absolute waste of a 1st round draft pick, any RB who can catch and pass block will do well in this backfield. Sproles will continue to be the man next year.
