Some of you posters are ridiculous. You wanna bag on the guy because he’s happy he’s finally making what he deserves after being grossly underpaid for Pro Bowl production…..

So he said he’ll try even harder now… and you guys actually think that’s a negative?

10 times out of 10 I’d rather employ someone who is motiuvated to work even harder after a big pay day than someone else who gets their cash and puts their level of effort on cruise control.

So what you’re saying is lets just pay him for what he did in leagues that aren’t the NFL? I believe we did that already and it was Rookie contracts. People want to argue both sides and it isn’t possible. He is a professional and should be motivated by what the future might bring. It shouldn’t take a new contract to begin to work harder.

Give him credit, Cam was willing to pay the price and through dedication was able to essentially transform his physique and skill set over a very short period of time. He went from being not that big to being a monster – take a look at the photo. I say good for him. He wanted, so he did what he needed to do to get it.

It’s taking him to a new level in his career. If you read the quote it’s not about his level of play or level of motivation. The guy works hard every game and goes about his business quietly. I was really excited when we first had him in for a tryout and he hasn’t disappointed.
