Look at Flacco’s 2010 stats and tell me they wern’t impressive. Sure his numbers were down in 2011 but he also did lose Heap and Mason and was playing with a lot of new faces. He’ll bounce back.

Raven’s tried this with TJ Hous….(however you spell it) and Lee Evans. Maybe 3rd times a charm? or maybe he’s the kick returner they need.

Don’t understand the Flacco haters. Sure his numbers are not elite but he’s also the only QB in history to have made the post season in his first four years. He’s not over-rated, in fact he hardly gets any love at all.

why do the ravens need a stud receiver, they have flacco. oh thats right, flacco sucks!!! Even with a stud receiver, the ravens will suck until they get rid of flacco. most over-rated QB in the league.

Again flacco haters abound. How do you criticizes a qb that had won more games than any other qb in his first four years in the latte. The Only qb to win a playoff game n his first four years. It’s ridiculous that there are so many haters over a guy who just keeps winning and is two dropped passes away from two superbowls

I really hope this is just the Ravens doing their due diligence, they already have a younger version of Jones on the roster in David Reed, fumbles and all. Why continue drafting receivers like Tandon Doss last year and Streeter this year if you’re always going to bring in a 1 year vet who ends up dropping the ball in the playoffs. As a Ravens fan I have viewed this last 3 consecutive years and it has done absolutely nothing for them. Why also draft Asa Jackson in the 5th who major contribution to an NFL team will likely be in the return game? Give the young guys, be it on offense or special teams, a chance to step up like you handle the young guys on your defense, otherwise you’re just continuing to waste draft picks…

I know most people are offended when you say Flacco is terrible, but he is at least average. And in today’s NFL, you need good offense to win football games. The Pats had the worst defense and the Giants were 27th. The league has completely shifted.

He darn sure didn’t display that above average talent here in Houston. Piss poor route running, the inability to get open during key moments in the red zone and the uncanny inability to get separation on more than one occasion.

We wish Jacoby well, but it’s clear that he wore out his welcome when he couldn’t get his game up when Andre Johnson went out last season. Even as a third option he was lackluster at best.

Whoever he lands with, I hope you’re ready for some disappearing acts.

Maybe now Flacco can improve on his passer rating that ranked 18th in the league last year (washed up interception machine Carson Palmer was 19th).
