You are both not seeing forest from the trees. Luck is the exception and not the rule. Same as Stanford vs. Miss. St. It is simply ridiculous that a dude accepts a job with little personal control and not report when he is ready. Not like Colts going to withhold a check b/c he did or did not graduate on or by such and such a date. I am sure an arrangement could have been made.
-------------------------------------------------

Really, you are not seeing reality due to your perception. This has nothing at all to do with any other player's scholastic performance or schedule. It's an NFL rule he cannot participate in organized activities until after graduation. It's not his fault, or the Colts. Some schools are out already, their draftees can participate. Stanford's semester is not over, so Luck can't join yet. So you're saying it's wrong for him to have declared for the draft knowing he couldn't make Day 1 of minicamp? That is goofiness. Anways if his new boss isn't bothered by it, why are you so bent? Doesn't affect you at all.

" The "arrangement" that is being made is what's being reported on in this article - a jet to get him around conveniently to places where he can practice unofficially with his new teammates. Any other kind of arrangement would be construed as breaking the rules of the NFL.

I’m sure RGIII will want access to a plane to ’cause the Skins would have drafted him first.

Let’s put Rebow on a plane with RGIII to teach him humility and then add Luck to teach them how to both focus on Football. Then, put McNabb on there to show them that just because you think you are great doesn’t mean a single team will sign you as a backup.

This it's an example of an idiot. Wtf does this article have to do with RGIII? Assclown

I can't believe that the majority of the comments on this article are people speculating as to whether or not this a salary cap violation.

Well, this site has finally done it. It has posted so many thousands of stories about salary cap rules, tampering, contract minutiae and other legal boondogglery that you've turned us all into a bunch of hand-wringing, rules obsessed ninnies.

Wow, Irsay offering up a plane to help get his investment acclimated. That sounds like someone seeking attention. Sounds more like he is dedicated to getting his franchise going in the right direction again. This kid is trying to pay his dues first, instead of being arrogant, and demanding special treatment. Luck is a dork too, funny though, he is now a multi-millionaire with access to a private plane... Call me dork all day.

@csszrr,
Your philosphy is meaningless in this case, since Luck's degree is in architectural design not the fluffy "general studies" garbage. Not to mention a degree from Stanford does not get sneezed upon. Some players actually plan to have a future beyond football and smartly have acquired the skills to achieve that.

I have no problem with this, its a solution to the asinine regulations...

Put Wayne, Collie, and the rest of the Receiving Corp in a Hotel right outside the Campus so they can run routes after his School Day.
