Twitter isn’t for everyone. And Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie has decided it’s no longer for him.

Cromartie has shut down his Twitter account, according to Robert Littal of BlackSportsOnline.com.

Cromartie signed off simply be explaining that it was his last post and wishing his followers to “have fun.”

Perhaps it’s simply a slow news day (there haven’t been many of those lately), but Cromartie was a pioneer of sorts on Twitter. He complained about the Chargers’ food at training camp, linking the quality of the cuisine to the franchise’s inability to win a Super Bowl.

And so the team fined Cromartie $2,500.
