Where in that article does it suggest the bears are talking about him coming back potentially? It states that Lovie is fond of him. It also seems like something Pompei believes should happen. Did I miss something here?

Was Amobi Okoye really that bad? I thought he played well in spots. Is there really that much of a price difference between him and and old, leftover Harris?

I don't see the point in adding him. What we need is a rotational guy who can fill in on all downs. At this point he's nothing more than a situational passrushing DT. We already have that in Melton and Idonije.

We would be much better served re-signing Anthony Adams at the vetran minimum.

he was a great player until he got a new contract and after that was always hurt or ineffective when he did play. you have to have slacked off in order for lovie to be down on you not to activate you for a game as he did before they got rid of him. just play the guys you have so they can improve, I think pea will have a monster year this year after having a off season of workouts and year in the system.

I believe this is a GOOD pickup. He knows the Defense and players he is with. I think after the support from his recent tragedy, he will come out with a real motor out of his backside and near the potential he was drafted with.

I am a Bears fan, but was never a big Tommie Harris fan. Too much talk, Cardinal punching, and jumping offsides. That said, for the right number, I would like to see him back. We're thin on the DL, and if he's got anything left in the tank, he's talented enough to make a difference as a situational player.

Wouldnt be a bad pickup for us to get him at the league minimum to add depth. Definitely not a starter or every down player. His last season with the Bears he was mostly on his back every snap.
