The first one was handed to him. he did zero to earn it, playing one of his worst games ever as a pro. JaMarcus Russell could have “earned” a ring as a Steelers QB that day.

(When I was trying to think of a poor QB who could have done as much to earn the ring as Ben did*, I tried to at least pick an example who was somehow similar to Ben. In this case, it was obesity.)

“There’s not a lot of coaching going on, I can assure you of that”.

Or this after Polian et al were fired (paraprhase):

“This is not a comfortable place for healing”.

You need to give that advice to your fellow Pats fans…because they are the biggest homer idiots on the planet.

As opposed to the Pats, who will throw a player out on his ear for virtually any reason. Least loyal team and fan base to player in America. Why any player would want to put up with that crap is beyond me. After all, it’s not like they have won any rings lately. Better to go to Pittsburgh, where their players have won two rings in the last 6 years and where they do treat each other like family.

I meant they were only relevant at that point in time indirectly because of the Chiefs. I realize that the Steelers were the best team of the 1970′s and I have a lot of respect for those teams.

The Steelers were only relevant in the 90′s and early 2000′s because of Bill Cowher, who got his job because of his performance as the defensive coordinator of the…Kansas City Chiefs. They may not have won any Super Bowls under Marty Schottenheimer, but they beat the Steelers every time they played them.

Also, November 12th. Monday Night Football, Chiefs vs. Steelers. Chiefs always play tough against the Steelers, they have 12 days to prepare, and they know Haley’s offense.

No they aren’t; even a moron understands you don’t go to jail unless you’re both charged and convicted of a crime. Since neither has happened to Ben, everyone who has an IQ over the mid-60′s knows why he isn’t in jail.

BESIDES….Haley is better. Look what he did with Kurt Warner, who people thought was over the hill?

Big Ben is arguably the best QB in the NFL. If he had a Drew Brees offensive line, that would be brought up a lot more often but since his OL’s haven’t been that gr8 he’s done as well as he could with what he’s got.

Not that they addressed the OL, got a great X&O guy in Haley who’s really inventive…I honestly think this could be Big Ben’s biggest year in the NFL.

He’s going to have the bets protection he’s had in year up front, a coach who will tak advantage of what you do best and isn’t afraid to take chances with his playcalls (gotta love those kind of coordinators with balls).

I’m confused that Big Ben is confused and notn doing eveything he can t gte in tune with this offense. If you do Ben, you’ll have the biggest season of your life.

After surviving the tenure of Bruce Arians, stilernation is excited to stat fresh with Todd Haley.
