Plus an ultra-athletic QB sitting on the bench learning for a few years in Kaepernick and a player in Daniel Kilgore who is the C of the future but might even win the starting RG spot this year.

I’ll admit, I was surprised by the Jenkins pick at first, but I’ve warmed up to it quite considerably. And I loved all the other picks they made too, even if it wasn’t who the “draftniks” wanted them to go with. Think about it this way: what did the 49ers need going into the draft? Explosive playmakers on offense, and depth at G/C, OLB and S. The rest of the roster was set. And what did Harbaalke do? Picked up explosive playermakers at WR and RB, drafted a G/C, two OLB and an extremely underrated S in Trenton Robinson who I think will be a stud. And to top it all off, they got three picks in the 2013 draft!

The only reason I don’t give them an A is because watching the war room they clearly missed out on a couple guys they really wanted (Vinny Curry, Gino Gradkowski, etc). But it was a great haul, and it’s really fun to watch the most talented roster 2-53 in the entire NFL get even BETTER this offseason. Can’t wait to see Lombardi #6 in SF soon.
