Getty ImagesThe man known as DHB has been charged with DUI.
According to Matier & Ross of SFGate.com, Raiders receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was arrested April 7 on the Bay Bridge, after police spotted Heyward-Bey speeding in his 2012 Range Rover. On Wednesday, he was officially charged with drunk driving.
Heyward-Bey’s blood-alcohol result has not been released by authorities. He is due to appear in court on May 31.
The seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft, Heyward-Bey struggled through his first two seasons before having a strong 2011 campaign, generated 975 yards on 64 catches. He appeared in 15 games, starting 14.

dont matter,
only thing that matters is #s on the field this year,
make or break
Was looking forward to a 1000 yard season from DHB & to make not taking “Crabtree”a smart move!!!
Come on dhb we need you man…
He drops too many balls, it’s that simple.
Al was right!!!
Al Davis Forever!!!
Just Win Baby!!!
Palmer – Moore….
All year long.
I heard they’re changing the name to the Heyward-Bey Bridge.
Same Old Oakland.
May 31st????
Must have got caught in San Fancisco’s county side of the bridge. In Alameda county they wouldn’t have time for that case until late June…at least.
LOL
faiders!
Their best WR wouldn’t be the 4th on the Chiefs. Another bust bites the dust.
Why have these guys not learned yet? It is NOT WORTH THE RISK! Have one of your random scrub buddies that isnt playing in the NFL drive the car if you have been drinking. A 0.08 is nothing too, it is real easy to go over that and feel fine especially when you have the size and body mass of an NFL player.

so far the best pick at wideout that draft class would have been hakeem nicks of the giants, although im glad the raiders did pick dhb because, we got crab!! even today i still would pick crab instead dhb
Clean it up DHB. Although last year he showed flashes that he can be a solid receiver in this league, Big Reg could use this situation to set an example for the rest of the team and send him packing. It won’t happen though, I’m sure Big Reg knew about this long before Florio and his boys could dig it up. DHB will be fine. I figure this year he will be good for 1150 yds and 8TDs… Solid
WOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least he caught something, a case.
Weaving in and out of his lane… sounds like he was driving same way he runs his routes
As a Giants fan I would like to thank the raiders for not taking Nicks.
This post has nothing to do with football. Just want to warn everyone not to purchase HAIER TELEVISIONS…..they have no service and thier tvs break down after you plug it in and then they wont take care of you. If anyone out there wants to boycott Haier, please google the boycott Haier and join.
Newsflash: Millionaire footballer in chauffeur hire shocker!!!!!
At least he didn’t pull a Seau.
Where’s JoeToronto to justify this like the lame homer that he is?

Giants picked him so late you might as well thank the whole rest of the league for passing on him multiple times.

REALLY!!!!!
GET REAL!!!!
You cant even name the top 4 receivers on the the KC Chumps team!!!!!
I bet he as driving faster than almost anyone else though…
Well he is known for his speed..
You may be fast, DHB…but you can’t outrun radar.
Bad move for this kid. They just took another receiver and it’s crystal clear that McKenzie/Allen are attracted to production, not freakish measurables.
It would not be a shock to see DHB traded before the cutdown in August.
You did it again. Good job flirtio
He dropped his keys
Well sounds like he is due a contract extension now that he has proven himself to be a true Raider.
Typical faider nation
The first clue for the officer was when DHB dropped his license….
with all those millions you got, take a limo

That one will be hard to test, since the Queefs don’t have a QB that can get the ball to them.

LOL @ exclaimation point boy!
BTW, Bowe is top 5 in the league, Breaston is one of the best slots out there, Baldwin is a monster, and will break out huge in his sophmore year. And we just stole a guy in the draft nicknamed “wiggle”. Check him out. I’ll bet $ he’ll be better than DBH by midseason. Oh yeah, and he’s know for his great hands. Unlike that joke of yours.
faider fans: like shooting fish in the proverbial barrel.
lickster is a moron.
Top 5 hahahahhhahhah
whos gonna throw him the ball?
Somehow Breaston is a superstar, and better than DHB, because he’s had three consecutive years of around 700 yards. Decent receiver, a solid but not spectacular #2 receiver, nothing more. No upside.
Somehow Jonathan Baldwin with his 21 career catches, 254 career yards, and 1 career TD is better than DHB. He gets a free pass because he was a rook and he does have upside and he should get better, but to proclaim “he’s a monster” and declaring huge things this upcoming season with a below average QB throwing him the ball is laughable.
Devon Wylie is somehow better than DHB because…well..because his nickname is “wiggle”!. Yeah great one! I expect great things from an undersized white boy.
DHB in essentially 14 games (Hue for reasons unknown played him for something like 4 snaps one game) last year had 975 yards. Not bad for someone who is a “bust”. He made huge strides last year and there’s still room for improvement. All I know is right now, he’s a good player. Not a #7 overall selection but certainly worthy of a 2nd round pick.
When it’s really bad they call it drive drunking
Drive drunk on the Bay Bridge????
I wouldn’t even have a bottle of champagne on the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge!!!
This is extremely disappointing, there’s no excuse for this at all, none.
I’d put him on a really short leash, one more bad decision and cut his arse.

Yeah, and Dontari Poe is already an All Pro, too. Tools like slickster35 yap a lot more in May than they do in January.
