It will be interesting to see how many of this year’s draft choices are on the team in three years as starters. The key to the Hawks improvement is a quality QB.

Robert “The Turbo” Turbin NEEDS to get signed and fast. And Jaye Howard should be a natural in the Hawks defense.

Wagner was actually faster than 4.6 – 4.46/4.47.

After following the Florida Gators for the past 20-some years I’d say that your only expectation for a Gators defensive linemen should be ‘mediocre’.

I am really pleased that we have all the draft picks except Robert Turbin signed, but what’s the deal with Turbin? Why isn’t he signed? Camp starts tomorrow!

The thing Seattle added to their defense this year is SPEED. Irvin ran in the 4.4s, Wagner ran in the 4.6s, and I think this Howard guy is actually the slowest, and ran 4.8 as a DT.

I am looking forward to third and eight this year. Last year, too many times, there was no pass rush, and QBs were able to wait for receivers to get open. With Jones and Irvin on the field in passing situations to complement Clemons, that should improve this year. We’ll see if Howard can get into the mix as well.
