It is pretty scary to think that the Texans D will be better this year then last. If you consider the two draft picks (Mercilus, Crick) and that they have a real off season this year I can’t see how they can’t be better. Add Schaub, A. Johnson back to the offense with a couple new WR, the O has to be better as well. I always look forward to the football season but having a team that can go deep into the playoffs makes the off season even longer!!!

The rest of the NFL should be ashamed of themselves for letting the Texans get Mercilus in the 1st and Crick in the 4th.

Texans have a front 7 rotation that is getting scary…. Brooks, Barwin, Cushing, Mercilus, Brady, Sharpton, Watt, Antonio & Crick can all get to the QB and play the run, with Cody or Mitchell on the interior.

Wade Phillips is building a modern day Dick Lebeau style defense in Houston. I don’t think he’s leaving anytime soon and the Texans will pay him well to stay after this season.
