It stinks that Wallace will accept the Tender Offer @ the last Minute, miss ALL Off-Season O.T.A’s & thereby put himself in Jeopardy of NOT “knowing” NEW Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley’s Terminology & System.

But if he is, as I have stated, “All About The Benjamins”, then the Steelers as A TEAM (Note to Mike Wallace : There Is NO “I” in TEAM!), then the Steelers are Better Off without him!

First off, I cant even believe you brought the Seahawks game in to question. The Seahawks offense did not exist in the second half. If you are trying to say that all the penalties in the first half kept them from winning then lets go ahead and say that the Lions should have went 13-3 this year. The Steelers clearly dominated the second half and came out with the victory. As for the “Immaculate Catch”, clearly a miracle ending to a great game, but you are saying that they should have lost. Take a closer look at the score of that game. Had the catch not have happened it would have been OT and who knows what would have happened from there.

It’s acceptable to take pride in your hometown team, yes even if that team is in Ohio, but I know SO many “Pittsburgh” fans who have never even been to the state let alone the city. That ladies and gents is unacceptable IMO and you guys who became Steeler fans in the 70′s or recently are no better than 75% of all these Patriot fans who have been popping up since 2001.

Yeah, I fell in love with the Steelers as a kid at the tail end of the Dynasty era. And I’ve been a diehard proud and loyal member of Steeler Nation for 35 years. Never wavered through the 80s, through Cliff Stoudt, Malone, David Woodley (ugh), and the parade of less-than-mediocre QBs after Bradshaw, through a season that opened with total losses of 92-10 to Cleveland and Cincy. Spent my money on Steeler merchandise every one of those 35 years, followed the team when living overseas, converted my family, and had the next generation decked out in Steeler gear since birth. And I have a personal letter on my wall from Dan Rooney telling me how much my support is appreciated.

The population of Pittsburgh is less than 306,000. But each year, the Steelers consistently rank as one of the top three teams in the league (#2 for 2011 to Green Bay, which has a population of less than 105,000).

NFL teams have loyal fans around the world. And none of us give a damn about the narrow restrictions a silly twit like you puts on who can or can’t support a team.

in SB XLIII. Which as we all know is another SB record by a steelers player

4th year players who don’t get slapped with the RFA tag are usually on the street looking for work; and if they are lucky enough to be on an NFL roster, they sure as hell aren’t making $2.75mil.

The immaculate reception or more commonly referred to as the “Immaculate Deception” by football historians, should not have counted, why? Look it up. As for SuperBowl XL, everyone including you’re mom knows the Seahawks won. So in conclusion if I hadn’t driven the point in well enough…(6-2)=4. Four. Wallace is a top 10 WR and will be paid like it if he ever reaches the market. He’s not running his mouth in the media or slamming the franchise and yet some people want to make him out to be a bad guy. He’s shooting for his market worth just like everybody else out there with a job. Have your employer offer you 1/3rd of what you should be earning then come on PFT and complain about Wallace. All the outrage over Wallace wanting Fitzgerald money but no outrage over the Steelers wanting him to play for 2.7m. He doesn’t deserve Fitzgerald money but it’s a hell of a lot closer to that than the 2.7m the Steelers want him to play for.

Second, in this and the article last month, there is not one single quote from Wallace, just the ordinary “people with knowledge” business that is used when someone wants to guess for an article. Since there has been no news release that he has signed, we can assume he has not.

Third, some of you have been paying too much attention to the “Great Whiner” now in Cleveland regarding previous games.

What does Wallace expect? He is an average receiver with a great Quarterback. I’m sure the team knows that the QB makes the receiver look much better, and that is the exact reason that there has been no big contract. Receivers are a dime a dozen in the NFL. Get real Mr. Wallace, sign the tender. Teams can see through you, sign before Big Ben retires and you end up with an average QB. I hate holdouts.
