PFT Live: Saints in complete disarray

New Orleans Times-Pucayne reporter Mike Triplett joins PFT Live. The Saints organization is in complete disarray as team leader Drew Brees still does not have a long-term contract, and the pressure of the bounty scandals is not easing up.

    Not sure this makes much sense to me. I think the sense of most fans is that the team is still 100% solid. Yes the “bounty” issue is an obstacles. Brees holding out for a long term deal is an obstacle.

    But how is it that just a day ago you have Triplett on and he says he expects the Saints to still win the NFC South and have as good a shot as any at the Superbowl. Yet this headline says Saints are in “complete disarray.” Seems like a fairly large delta between those two scenarios, from the same person, interviewed in the same week.

    The need for sensational headlines rules the day.
