In all fairness to Sparano look what he had for QBs last year.

Sanchise is now Sanchez.
Rex & Tony are a couple of tools.
They finished 8-8 last year.

So, did I miss something? Isn’t Rex Ryan still the coach of the Jets? If so, why would an assistant be running the ship? And the only thing Sparano will be running is the Jets offense- from average to well-below.

We’ll see what you think of him when it’s 3rd and 10 and Tebow comes in for wildcat plays for 3 yards!!! As a Dolphins fan, firing Sparano was the best thing that happened to the team, the second best thing was for him to go to the Jets. You can expect to lose a lot of close games with him at the helm.

Sparano was brought in for a specific reason. He was never an Offensive Coordinator. He also was not the one who implemented the wildcat like everyone thinks. It was Dan Henning and David Lee. They brought Sparano in because Rex is on a VERY short leash this season and they need a person with Head Coaching experience just in case they have to fire Rex in the middle of the season.

Lets see how long that “tight ship” lasts. I’ve never seen a coach that gets so excited for a field goal. It made me sick watching the phins kick field goal after field goal when they should of been putting the ball in the end zone.
