Not because he might get hurt or might not pick up the playbook or might not have the leadership skills or some actual football tangible reason? I’m a fan and could give you actual reasons he may not be good but you just went with expectations? Wow..

Secondarily um at this point every team is tied for first place..and at the end of the season you will find yourself going how the hell did the skins win 9 games and we would say cause you only look at the fantasy numbers and dont follow the team. If RGIII is at least one third better the grossman this team wins way more games..just a third..you didnt watch the games you didnt see that this team is really not that far off..if these pieces gel..the east is in for it..

As a Texans fan, I am glad he did take his spoiled brat son with him to Washington. Evaluating talent obviously does not run in the family since they still think John Beck is a starting quarterback in the NFL. If the Texans do not go 12-4, Gary Kubiak can join his mentor by being fired this season, he should have picked a better role model.

The Raiders don’t do Hard Knocks, either, but they do like to burn draft picks on quarterbacks. Hell!!!

Granted, the Redskins are full of drama for the cameras this year with RGIII, a potential QB controversy with drafting another rookie QB, not to mention the old goat Grossman hanging on. Add in the threat of year long suspensions for Trent and Fred Davis, and this will be the circus Hard Knocks fawns over and will cost Shanahan his job.

I’m pretty sure ratings come from big stories and drama in camp and not win/loss record. People didn’t say “Oh man the Jets Hard Knocks are so good because they win a lot of games!”

They liked it because of Rex swearing etc etc.

Yeah, it’s hard to imagine Hard Knocks ever considering a team that wasn’t a perennial Super Bowl contender: a team like, I dunno… the Cowboys, the Chiefs, the Cowboys, the Bengals, or the Jets.

Second, “Yeah I agree with that”… You agree with what? No one from HBO, the NFL, or PFT ever made the case that Washington does not deserve Hard Knocks. The only statement regarding whether or not it should go to Washington in the entire article is a statement by the author: “only a small handful of teams make sense for the annual Hard Knocks assignment”, a small handful which apparently includes the Redskins. If you’re going to share your opinion with the world, the very least you can do is read the article.

Lastly, your final statement is absolutely untrue. The Redskins do, in fact, win every (ever) year. They may not win a lot, but they do win at least one game every year.
