I’ll never forget the shots of Tebow on the Denver sidelines as the Broncos struggled, and the crowd chanted Tebow.

You could tell that Tebow clearly heard those chants by his demeanor and actions. This was from the very beginning. Denver was screwed, although some people call it Leadership.

It was bad for the team, bad enough that the one man show was exorcised from Denver as soon as possible after the season.

Good luck, Jets. It is going to be hell.

Revis should worry about how he’s going to cover people this year, since lately all he does is tug jerseys and bar arms to defend passes.

Hence why the Giants studied his tactics, and burned him when it counted most.

And I’m still waiting for someone to justify the “Tebow is a winner” line. Compared to whom?

Almost every qb has won more NFL games than Tebow. (Including Sanchez).

Almost every qb has more playoff wins than Tebow (including Sanchez).

Dalton, McCoy and others have won more college games than Tebow.

Rex Grossman and Chris Leak won as many SEC Championships at UF. Several other qb’s have won more.

There’s a heisman trophy winner every year.

So if Timmy’s a “winner” isn’t every qb in the NFL?

Wouldn’t be surprised in the least if the jets become one of the success stories of the 2012 season. It pains me to say that as I absolutely hate them. You watch, during a normal NFL offseason, and with faculty that actually want him there, he will become better. You can’t discount his drive, and the fact that he keeps defenses honest with the run threat. Let’s see McGahee put up those numbers next season with ol’ crookneck at the helm.

There’s a chance this might work out well for the Jets… they’ve got T. Sparano, who lead the Dolphins to 6 and 10, OK, never mind… but they do have Rex who led the Jets to 8 and 8. OK, well, Sanchez and Tebow had QB rankings of 23 and 28 respectively last season. Seriously, they all have a better chance of getting struck by lighting in training camp… with the possible exception of Tebow obviously.

Well, at least now I feel better about my chances of winning the lottery.

Let the circus begin. The media here in Denver made enough of a distraction with the Tebowmania, but it will pale in comparison to the absolute mayhem that will ensue once the NY media smells blood in the water. Couple that with a loud mouth coach and a locker room full of guys that cant wait to shoot of their mouths as well and let the countdown to mayhem begin.

There’s no picture on the scorecard. In other words what many of you fail to grasp is that while Joe Willie’s stats were not good (maybe Tebowesk) in 1968 not only did he guaranty a SB victory but he and the Jets obtained it. What difference did it make what his stats were. They got the Ring and I think that’s what Revis is trying to say. Tebow might have attrocious stats but he is a winner, on the field and off. Cue the hate.
