Product of the system aka Peyton Manning

__
If anything, it is Tom Brady who has shown that he is a product of the system. Matt Cassel, who has otherwise looked like crap in KC, had a pretty good season as Brady’s replacement in Belichick’s system.
__________________________________

This is such a tired and ignorant point. First off in 2010 Cassell (with the Chiefs) had the best season of his career, better than in NE. 27TD 7 INT and a 93 rating.

Second Cassell took the SAME TEAM Brady had in 2007 that went 16-0 and went 11-5. 5 games worse.

In 2007 Brady threw 50TD to 8 INT and threw for over 4800 yards. QB rating of 117.2

Cassell had the same weapons in 2008 and 21 TD (less than half of brady) and 11 ints (3 INTS more than Brady) and 3693 yards (1100 less) QB rating of 89.4

Brady came back the next year on a rebuilt knee and had a better year than Cassell’s 2008with different weapons.

Cassell’s career QB rating is 82.5 so he was barely better than his career average that one year on a stacked team.

Hate Brady and the Pats all you want, but dont make these pointless arguments.

__
Pointless argument? Please, child…compare that differential to the one that resulted from the Colts’ past season’s performance. They go from playoffs every season with Manning to the worst record in the NFL last season. Hate on ME all you want to, but don’t try and pretend that in a direct comparison between Manning and Brady that (of the two) Brady is more the system QB.

_________________________

Child? Who says something like that?

Lets look at the differential since you brought it up. Record went from 10-6 to 2-14.....a 8 game difference. Of course you arent taking into account the tons of talent the Colts had on IR last season, the fact that many thought they were tanking intentionally and that they werent considered by many to be a top contender with Manning. And lets see one of those scrub QB's then ran out there go and have a season like Cassell did in 2010? Im guessing that will never happen. Collins WAS good, but is obviously done.

Stats wise Manning in 2010
33TD, 17INT, 4700 yards 91.9 rating
Colts QB's in 2011
14 TD (19 less.....Pats threw 29 less without Brady) 14 int (3 LESS INT than Manning...Pats threw 3 more without Brady) 3223 yards (1500 less than Manning....Pats were 11oo less so your point works on this catepagory) 72.2 rating (19 less than Manning...Pats were 28 lower without Brady)

Even with all those stats I still wouldnt argue that EITHER guy is a system QB. Anyone that says two of the top 10 QBS all time are system QB's are out of their mind. Or in your case blinded by hatred.

I also like how you validated your comments by all the comments you get in response. 95% or those are crapping all over you, and your posts get overwhelmingly thumbed down. And trust me, those arent all Patriots fans.

The Giants are a dynasty like no other. They will win every game from here on out, no competition at all. All are welcome to jump on the bandwagon and ride it to eternal victory. All other fans are fools, and will be rooting for substandard teams that will be laid awaste of the mighty Giants dynasty.

——————————————–

I swear, if Giants fans start acting like Steelers fans who troll on every one of these boards with their “holier than thou even though I’ve never played in the NFL” schmick, somebody is going to pay.

Don't worry about that this buddybowl69 is an Eagles fan. I guess his new method of trolling is acting like a self-entitled Giants fan. However it wasn't the Giants fans or players that called themselves the dream team.

Bozo is a habitual stalker of all Patriot threads despite hating the Patriots and all things New England. I can’t explain why the site allows his juvenile name calling but he tends not to offer an original thought so most of us ignore his posts.

__
Yeah, crybaby...you guys "ignore" me. That's why I constantly have countless responses to my posts.

And the site "allows" the namecalling for the same reason why they allow New England sports fans to namecall Jets, Giants, Lakers, Yankees and all of their other rival fan posts here.

BTW, I don't "hate" the Patriots...I merely dislike you New England idiots. Note that I am rarely critical of the players themselves...mostly because, like the rest of the posters here, I don't interact with them (and don't pretend to know them or to be a part of the team like some of you idiots).

This visit is typical Belichick. Bill looks for value, whether it be in late round draft picks, rookie free agents, or veterans that can be added to the roster at a significant discount. Belichick believes in a deep roster and knows injuries are part of the game. He also believes in competition. Money being relatively equal, the savy vet would rather suit up with the Patriots and win than struggle through losing despite more playing time. A guy like Clark would likely be held off the roster due to injury early in the season with the expectation that he would be added to the 52-man roster before his eligibility ran out. Who would you rather have replacing an injured tight end, a rookie from the practice squad or Dallas Clarke coming off the injured list?

Please, child...compare that differential to the one that resulted from the Colts' past season's performance. They go from playoffs every season with Manning to the worst record in the NFL last season. Hate on ME all you want to, but don't try and pretend that in a direct comparison between Manning and Brady that (of the two) Brady is more the system QB.

27 TDs and 7 INTs to make a Pro Bowl hardly looks like crap. What planet are you from – but your name explains a lot.

Sandwiched by two crappy seasons. But let's ignore that like a typical idiot Pats fan would (even if you aren't one yourself). Let's also forget that the Chiefs took a serious shot at getting Manning this past off-season.

.

@p31squared

"what's with all the ex Colts?"

Belichick likes to acquire players who have performed well in game situations versus the Patriots. Addai, Gonzales, and Clarke fit that criteria.

Welker is the poster child for that philosophy. He used to whip the patriots defense and special teams singlehandedly.
