Lots of irrational comments in here but it’s aphids story so it’s to be expected

He probably shouldn’t start this year at all but if disaster happens and he is forced to start, then we hope for the best

But the dolphins last year were a case of poor coaching, poor offensive line and really good defense take away a couple of plays that may have occurred differently had the offense been better…getting rid of dropsy Marshall is a big step in the right direction and I think Philbin will have better game plans than Tony fist pump which will lead to better play all around

did you see the Gruden QB camp with Tannehill?

Gruden asked him about the spread option and Tannehill said Sherman hated it but had to add it to the WCO. so you are right, but they may be so close in so many respects that Tannehill can’t go wrong claiming to know it. did Tannehill play under center in college? I haven’t seen it. so the execution can’t be exactly the same but the nomenclature, pass patterns and progressions are probably the same.

Tannehill may be saying its the same offense but who knows anymore that could be a bunch of bull and that’s why he’ll hold a clipboard bet its a lot different but I truly hope this guy turns out to be great cause if not were doomed for atleast another 5+ seasons so he has my full support!! It all boils down to speed of the game. He walked in knowing 85 percent of the playbook so if he gets acclimated to the speed difference between college and the NFL, he will be the day 1 starter.

Marino started in game 6 his first season and went on to the Pro Bowl that year. Tannehill can only hope his rookie season goes that well. And the Skins do have a shot at the playoffs. They beat the Giants twice last year. Giants won the division at 9-7. Skins lost a lot of close ones last year with Rex Grossman at the helm. RG3 will make his share of mistakes, but the team will still be better than last yeare.

it doesn’t really matter at this point, because the absolute second a contender loses their starting QB for the season, Moore will be traded to that team.

lol, you think the NFL has never seen Sherman’s offense before. FYI Sherman was a NFL OC and HC before HC at A&M.

you can know a guys offense, but you will only succeed against it if that OC fails to guard against tendencies.

yeah….right. Do the Dolphins even have to say anything to him? There’s NO WAY he doesn’t get a t least a start or two. They need a QB now! They didn’t draft him #8 to sit around “studying” Moore or “grooming to be the next” Garrard. I’m not saying Tannehill is the answer by any means but, yeah, he’ll get some starts.

How, exactly? They’re not going to catch up to the Patriots or even the Jets, not this year at least, and Buffalo is improved too. So they’re not going to win the division, and too many good teams (DEN/SD, BAL/PIT/CIN, NYJ/NE, and maybe even the Raiders) have to fall flat for them to get a Wild Card. No chance of Miami in the playoffs this year.
