Getty ImagesSafety Deon Grant won a Super Bowl ring in February. In May, he’s still looking for his next NFL job.
Via Justin Rogers of Mlive.com, Grant told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Saturday that a couple of teams are interested in the 12-year veteran: the Lions and the Cowboys. Grant said, however, that he’s in no rush to sign with any team.
Grant appeared in every game last season for the Giants, starting nine in the regular season and three in the postseason, including Super Bowl XLVII.
He has spent four years with the Panthers, three with the Jaguars, three with the Seahawks, and two with the Giants.
Perhaps his biggest claim to fame in 2011 came after he was accused of faking an injury during a Monday night win over the Rams.

Ram’s fan here..and his injury flop was the worst acting job I’ve seen. It wasn’t like the Ram’s were any good to begin with and he did it to slow down their momentum on one actual decent drive
The Giants are so great, they don’t have to fake anything. Giants set the standard, we are a dynasty like no other, get used to it.
He’s in no rush because he doesnt want to goto camp. How does he expect to learn a new system if he doesnt get to OTAs and mini camp. He’s sounding more and more like a Cowboy…
Deon Grant is so good he started in Super Bowl XLVII even though that takes place in February 2013.
Don’t will back in New York by camp. Perry won’t trust any of the younger players for his 3 safety sets.
Play as long as you can!!!

Don’t blame just him. Their whole D is coached to do that crap, I still crack up thinking about that play where two players flopped at the same time, and then one of them was like “oh, guess I better get up”.
Grant probably is on hold with the Champs.
Prince in a boot; Thomas coming in from a ACL, only Webster [who is hitting 29] is a vet.
Grant will add veteran depth, knows Fewell’s system, it’s just a matter of time.
OTA’s coming 5/23/24-5/30/31, the June, see ya
there Deon!
The World Champions, New York Giants.

@ctgiant your comment makes no sense… Grant is a safety not a corner you tard
Another good player that left the Jaguars to go on and win a Superbowl.
Cowboys are NOT interested. Why does every has been try to drum up interest by lying about the Cowboys.
Who would been interested in an old safety who is a liability in pass coverage?

Do YOU work in the Front Office?
Come on back to New York where you belong……
The Giants are bunch of cheaters just like the Saints. Heck, if they don’t fake all those injuries against the Rams, the probably don’t make the playoffs…how pathetic. But then again, what would I expect from a piece of crap city like NY.

Now you’ve resorted to posing as a Giants fans?
If you want to wear that hat, why don’t you try on one of our 4 rings while you’re at it?
LOSER.

You guys wouldn’t want him – he’s not a flashy a$$hole with a ghettofab-me first-attitude. Wouldn’t fit in with the Philly persona at all.
Plus he has a ring with a big blue NY on it.
That definitely wouldn’t fit in well with your EMPTY TROPHY CASE.
