You are correct. Broyles surgery was in November.

What I’m reading is that it takes 6-9 months to heal after an ACL surgery. That would make the talk about possible PUP for training camp, but expected to be 100% for the regular season, sound correct.

Gotta say, the NFC North is gonna be brutal, this year.

Green Bay and Detroit are both as good as last year, perhaps better, Chicago is healthy again and arguably improved at WR, at least til Marshall shoots himself in the foot again, and even Minnesota figures to be improved…I mean, there’s only one way to go, for them, right?

The teams that can go 4-2, or 5-1 in the division are gonna be in good shape for the playoffs, since the NFC North plays the NFC West, which is SF and three wins, and the AFC South, which is likely Houston and three more wins.

(Apologies to Seattle and the Titans, as apply.)

So 4-2 in the division looks like 10-6 or 11-5 and a playoff spot, as reasonable.

It’s good to be a Lions’ fan.

Didn’t Broyles have surgery in November? Because that would be 6 months from his surgery and that makes a TON of difference with a torn ACL.

I could be wrong, but I thought I heard he had the surgery in November.

The Lions said they MIGHT put Broyles on the PUP list to start TRAINING CAMP…not the regular season, they fully expect him to be ready and at 100% in September. The only worry they have was rushing him in camp in July
