Still, it seemed like there was a conflict there that probably wasn’t going to be resolved. At this rate I’d be happy if we could even get a 7th rounder because most teams are probably quite aware of this. TE also looks like it’ll be a huge priority in next year’s draft, as we basically have no one at the position now.

Trade him to NE, they could play 3 TE all game long.

This was my thought as well. Last week, New England kicked the tires on Dallas Clark so maybe they do have interest in a pass catching/no block tight end.

Winslow’s leg injuries have robbed him of the fantastic separation he once had, but he still has an enormous catch radius. Tom Brady’s accuracy in the short passing game would seem to be a logical fit for his talents. Winslow would gather up a lot of third down conversions.

A TE that can’t block his grandmother is not worth that kind of money.

Dallas needs another TE after Bennett went to NYG and I’m sure Jenkins would love to play his last contract year in his home state.

Win/win for both teams.

Ummmm…no.

6 mil a year for a second string TE? Unless he wants to restructure that contract, that would be a stupid move for Dallas.

Plus, Jenkins is cheap (1mil base), provides quality depth, and if he leaves for FA after this year, Dallas’ compensatory pick they would recieve is probably of greater value than whatever Winslow’s is.

Doesn’t make sense for Dallas.

He will be released.

He is one reason why I honestly think the Browns are cursed. If he doesn’t get into that accident, he could be one helluva TE right now.

That might be so (I think his attitude is more of the problem than his accident), but he still wouldn’t have remained in Cle.

LOL at Winslow destroying his trade value with his comments though. Pretty smart of him. If he gets cut instead he might make more money (not sure what he’s still owed)and he definitely has more freedom of choice.

Upgrade over Fasano in terms of a downfield/more athletic threat and it takes the pressure off their young tight ends.

Tight end has proven to be vitally important in Philbin’s offense.
