Getty ImagesOn Monday, I took a few minutes to point out that the Dolphins had signed one of their seventh-round picks, defensive tackle Kheeston Randle.
In the interests of equal time and full disclosure and obsessive-compulsive tendencies, the Dolphins have now signed their other seventh-round pick.
The team has announced that wide receiver Rishard Matthews has agreed to terms.
Matthews joins a young corps of receivers without a clear No. 1. Six years ago, Marques Colston arrived in New Orleans as a seventh-round pick, so it’s not impossible that Matthews will become a go-to guy for the Dolphins.
Unlikely, but not impossible.
